八代のトマト農家さん宅に見学に行ってきました。
とても大きなハウスに立派なトマトが一杯。
成り方はぶどうみたいで非常に綺麗です。
トマトベリーという とても糖度の高い品種で
ハート型をしたミニトマト。 フルーツ感覚で食べられます。
トマト嫌いな子供も食べられるとの噂も。
なるべく自然に近い形の肥料を使っており、木々がいきいきしているように見えました。
家族経営ですが、夫婦の人柄がそのままトマトにでているような気がします。
